When calling Virgin Mobile, it is important to remember that the representatives are trained not to refund any plan and it is a very confusing process for the rep to refund you a credit card transaction or for any plan.

If you are requesting money back from virgin mobile, the representatives can only credit up to $10. So if your rep is hesitant to refund you, ask to speak with a team lead or supervisor. A team lead can credit up to $25 and a supervisor $50. Unfortunately, for a refund over $50, no one in the call center will be able to offer you the refund and you will need to write the corporate office.

But, if you do catch a incompetent rep, just remember you can scam an easy $10 credit from them with some blatant social engineering.

And, if you have been denied refunds in the past from Virgin Mobile and feel like they stole money from you, well... they did :-P... I've seen someone sign up for the $99.99 plan accidentally, and 5 minutes later switch to the $49.99 plan. Guess what... No refund for that.
